| RF Online Free MMORPG |
RF Online aka Rising Force online are considered as an old game. So it's not a surprise if most new MMORPG gamer doesn't know about this game. RF Online first launch at 2006. Created by a South Korea developer CCR, this game already launch in few countries with many language translations. The game itself is a mixture of fantasy and high tech world.
Prologue story of RF Online
There are three races you can choose in this game which is Accretia, Bellato and Cora.

This is the cyborg race. Have an abilities of close and range combat. Although they doesn't uses force or magic, their high tech technology are most powerful against any race.
Unique class Striker can use a Siege Kit (grenade or rocket launcher) that will give any monster or player a massive amount of damage.
The base class for Accretia are Warrior, Ranger and Specialist. Accretia is the only race who doesn't have a spiritualist class.

Bellato are an elf race. As short as they can be, Bellato race is known for their physical strength. With a balance knowledge of high tech and the force of magic, Bellato race are sure that one race you will need to play at least once.
Unique class Driver can ride a MAU (Massive Armor Unit) aka the mecha bot. There are two types of MAU which have a close and long range combat ability. As cool as this robot can be, you will NOT gain any experience while using a MAU.
The base class for Bellato are Warrior, Ranger, Specialist and Spiritualist.

This race is kind of like a human but still an elf like Bellato. Taller than Bellato and shorter than Accretia, Cora race are more into the dark force of magic. With a unique ability to summon Animus (summoned creature) with different abilities, fighting one Cora with Animus is like fighting two players at the same time.
Unique class Summoner is one of the popular class for a Cora race. Using this class will make you feel like in the Final Fantasy world where you can summon a creature to defeat the enemy.

ECONOMY
In this game, you can truly feel the economy. You can see a massive different when more people trade in in-game money for gold. In other word, more people cash out the gold, more lower the gold price will be. This is why the best time to trade in gold is when not many people are online. You can even see a graph indicate the current flow of gold transaction at the Bank NPC.
MINING
Unlike any other MMORPG where you get an upgrade stone from a monster drop, in RF Online you have to mine one. You can use the manual mining tool or the unmanned mining tool where you can leave the mining tool at any mining area.
All three races have a designated mining area where you can mine the stones but the process are slow and have a high risk of being attack by other races but fear not, there are a special place where you can mine all the stones without any worry of other races. Plus, you get a high percentage of getting a really rare stones. This is where the Chip War come in.
CHIP WAR
A Chip War is a war between races. The winner race will have a right to mine at the mining center without any disturbance from any monster or other races in there. The mining center are guarded by a huge monster. This huge monster will attack any races that lost the war. Even the max level player will be dead in second if got attack by this monster.

LEVELING
Leveling in RF Online is quite normal. Same as any MMORPG, you just need to complete all the given quests. Some bigger quest will require you to defeat the Pit Boss aka the Big Boss of each designated area. At some cases, you will need help from a higher level player since it's quite hard to kill one by yourself at a higher level. Quest is the only option for you to get a huge amount of experience as a reward.

Keep in mind that some area can be access by other races. These areas mostly are for medium level players. So there will be a time when you can't even leveling there since some douche players from other race decided to camp outside the door. If you're lucky, there are some high level player in your race will come to the rescue and kick their asses.
PVP
PVP are most often seen during Chip War. This is the only best time for player to test out their awesome set of armor and weapon. Since this game is all about races war, it just a rare case to see same race PK because most of the time player are busy fighting other races. For example at some area, you will see a Cora player fighting the Accretia player because that is the only place for all races to get a good drop of some nice armor or weapon or doing the same quest.
Keep in mind just like in any other games, there are still some asshole who like to kill low level players even when you are the same race as them. So don't be shy to ask for help from other player when this happen. If there are asshole, there should be a hero too.

There are more to tell about RF Online. What I'm telling you here are some basic stuff. Although this game is not like any new MMORPG game today, for me it still a fun game to play. Like it or not are for you to decide.
